Dear TCC Family,

We have been notified by our MidSouth District Church of the Nazarene office that there is help needed for the Jackson, MS, El Paso, TX and Dayton, OH areas.  This need will provide our church an opportunity to “Go to the Well,” as our District Superintendent, Dwight M. Gunter recently said.  In a recent message regarding Jackson, MS, Dr. Gunter states: “We have all been saddened by the recent ICE raids in the Jackson, MS area. Regardless of our political views regarding border control and immigration, we have a Christian, biblical, opportunity to help people in need. This is one of the ways we can ‘Go to the Well.’ Children and families are in need of food. May it never be said of MidSouth Nazarenes that we let people on our doorsteps be hungry and we didn’t give them something to eat (Matthew 25:31-46).”

We are collecting monetary donations ONLY at this time. These donations will provide Crisis Care Kits, Walmart gift cards, and/or non-perishable food for the parents who have been apprehended and released but are now unable to work.

Please have your monetary donations to the church no later than Sunday, September 1. Click on the link below and choose “special” fund for your donations.
